In the vodka category, we produce and market our own brands, while also distributing international brands within the Diageo portfolio in Türkiye, including Smirnoff, Ketel One, Cîroc, and Gilbey's.
Vodka was first produced in Eastern Europe, particularly in Russia and Poland, and today it is a distilled spirit produced worldwide. A wide variety of raw materials can be used in its production; however, the most common are grains such as rye, wheat, and barley. Grapes and potatoes are also used in vodka production.
By law, vodka must be distilled to an alcohol strength of at least 95–96%. Although traditional pot stills can be used, this high level of alcohol strength can only be achieved through continuous distillation systems.
