LIQUEUR

Our brands that we produce in the liqueur category are Nazen and Jest. The main liqueur category is evaluated in two sub-groups: "fruit liqueur" and "liqueur".

Agricultural ethyl alcohol is used in liqueur production. The origin of this alcohol can be agricultural raw materials such as wheat, barley, potatoes. The alcohol ratio by volume of liqueur must be at least 15%. In fruit liqueur production, it is essential to use at least 25 kg of fruit for every 100 litres of 100% alcohol in the product. During the production process, agricultural ethyl alcohol is mixed with flavourings, milk and dairy products, fruits, wine and other agricultural products, flavoured, diluted with water, sweetened and bottled after resting.

The production stages of fruit liqueur are summarised as follows: First, the fruits that form the base of the liqueur are harvested during the ripening period and processed to be ready for production. Then agricultural ethyl alcohol is processed together with fruit, fruit juice or fruit peels. Techniques such as maceration and distillation are applied for the aromas to pass into the product. The resulting fruit liqueur is diluted with water, sweetened, rested and bottled in the final stage.

Thanks to this meticulous production process, our Nazen and Jest brands meet consumers as liqueurs that meet high quality standards and offer enjoyable drinking.

The Story of Liqueur

Master Varol, who has worked as a vodka, gin and liqueur master in our company with approximately 50 years of experience, told the story of liqueur which has become a tradition since the first years of the Republic and has found its place on special occasions and alongside certain beverages in Medyascope's "Liqueur, the Indispensable of Holidays" video.
