12 September 2025

Diageo Turkey, a prominent brand in the alcoholic beverage sector, has released its 4th Sustainability Report, covering the period from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. According to the report's findings, the company organized occupational health and safety training sessions involving nearly 1,000 employees during this timeframe.

Through the "Water Replenishment" project, a total of 324,675 cubic meters of water was restored to nature. Additionally, Diageo Turkey successfully reduced its operational emissions by 15% compared to the previous year.

One of the standout developments in the report was the acceleration of digitalization in occupational safety processes through two primary applications. The first is "factory entrance automation," and the second is "risk analysis through image processing," which aims to enhance workplace security and efficiency.

Sustainable Agriculture As part of sustainable farming practices in vineyards, approximately 55 tons of pruning waste were mixed back into the soil, reintegrating them into the natural cycle.

Gediz Basin Project The Water Collective Action project reached 387 producers, initiating a transformation in agricultural water management, correct fertilizer usage, protection of water resources, and soil health.

Bahar Uçanlar, General Manager of Diageo Turkey, provided the following evaluation regarding the report's results:

"With 670 projects implemented in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we are determined to build a resilient future, an inclusive economy, and a business model that respects the boundaries of the planet. These values represent a collective legacy stretching from the farmers who labor on the land to the masters of production, and from local communities to the consumer."
